With some inspiration, your yard can be transformed into a beautiful, more usable space that can give you years of enjoyment. This portfolio shows yards before and after design implementation. Many of these photos were taken immediately following installation, when plants have not yet matured. Soon they will be thriving, fully mature landscapes.

Behrens Ranch Neighborhood, Round Rock

This Behrens Ranch client wanted to remove all the grass in their backyard to create a low maintenance area with easier access to the entire back and sides of their yard. A huge priority for this client was to create a large raised vegetable area on the sunny side of their house – where they can easily garden throughout the seasons. Usability combined with beautiful color and texture throughout their yard, and raised beds to hide the foundation of their homes, were all goals that we achieved. We connected their rainwater basins to drip irrigation that will use rainwater to irrigate their yard.

Hidden Glen Neighborhood, Round Rock

This client has a very shady backyard and the St. Augustine grass was stressed and dying in areas due to low light and water. They wanted more designated areas for kids to play as well as walkable access behind house to side gates on either side and a more beautiful backyard experience for friends and family to gather. We planted shade-loving grasses and perennials that will thrive in these conditions.

Forest Creek Neighborhood, Round Rock

The goal of this client was to extend their entertaining space to accommodate more groups of people and eliminate the dying grass due to shade and water stress. We created a crushed granite sitting area edged with Corten steel. We also added a linear walkway to bring a slightly contemporary feel to their backyard. Shade-loving evergreens and perennials soften the area and bring color and wildlife to their backyard. And an added bonus – a beautiful water feature near their patio to bring a relaxing sound that blocks the street noise behind.
